- A fim, television drama or book about cowboys mainly set in western North America, set especially in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

- Also known as an italian Western or Macaroni Western. A western film made cheaply in Europe by an italian director since the 1960's.

- It is a film genre that emerged in the US in the 1970's. It is an ethnic sub genre of the general category of exploitation films which were originally made specifically for an urban black audience, although the audience appeal soon broadened across racial and ethnic lines.

- As it was improvised and also that Franco Nero was the original 'Django' from the previous spaghetti westerns about a cowboy named 'Django'. He describes that 'The 'D' is silent'.

- Morricone gained worldwide fame by composing the music for Italian westerns by directors such as Sergio Corbucci. Morricone's music has been resued for television series and in movies including Django Unchained (2012).

- Von Shaft is significant due to the film Shaft (1971) because Tarantino plotted hat the main character in the film would has been related to Django and Broomhilda as their great, great grandson.

I took a take on Andy Warhol's pop art work by replacing a picture of Deng Xiaoping with Kim Jong-Un. This is because they look similar and I thought it would be a clever take.
